This Cookie Policy explains how InsightSpheric AI ("we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on this website, the InsightSpheric AI application, and surveys hosted on our domain. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies (such as localStorage) work in comparable ways. They let a site remember your actions and preferences, keep you signed in, and — where you allow it — measure how the site is used. Cookies set by us are "first-party"; cookies set by another organisation are "third-party".
2. Your choices & legal basis
We ask for your consent before setting any cookies that are not strictly necessary. When you first visit, a banner lets you Accept all, Reject all, or choose per category. Non-essential categories are switched off by default, and rejecting is as easy as accepting.
- Strictly necessary cookies are exempt from consent and are always on — the service cannot run without them (lawful basis: our legitimate interest in operating and securing the service).
- Analytics and Marketing cookies are set only with your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.
3. Categories we use
Strictly necessary
Required for the platform to work — signing you in, keeping your session secure, load balancing, and remembering your cookie choices. The site cannot function without these, so they cannot be switched off.
Examples: Supabase authentication/session cookies (sb-*), the theme preference, and this cookie-consent record itself.
Legal basis: Not consent-based — exempt under the ePrivacy Directive (Art. 5(3)) as strictly necessary, and processed under our legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)) to secure and operate the service.
Analytics & performance
Help us understand how the product and site are used — which pages and features are popular and where things break — so we can improve them. Aggregated and never used to advertise to you.
Examples: Not currently active. If enabled in future, this would cover privacy-respecting product analytics (e.g. Google Analytics 4 in consent-mode).
Legal basis: Your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). Off until you opt in.
Marketing
Used to measure and improve marketing campaigns and, potentially, to show relevant content on other sites. These may set cookies via third-party advertising partners.
Examples: Not currently active. If enabled in future, this would cover advertising/conversion pixels (e.g. Meta, LinkedIn, Google Ads).
Legal basis: Your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). Off until you opt in.
4. Cookies we currently set
Today we set only strictly necessary cookies — we do not run third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If that changes, this table and the categories above will be updated and we will ask for your consent again.

5. Managing & withdrawing consent
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time — it is as easy to withdraw as it was to give. Use to reopen the preferences panel, or the "Cookie settings" link in the site footer. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings, though strictly necessary cookies are required for the platform to function, so blocking them may prevent sign-in.
We keep a record of your consent (the categories you chose and the policy version) so we can honour your choice and demonstrate compliance. We ask you to reconfirm your choices at least every 180 days, and whenever this policy materially changes.
6. Third parties & sub-processors
The infrastructure providers that help us run the service (for example Vercel, Supabase and Stripe) are listed in our Privacy Policy. Strictly necessary cookies may be set by these providers solely to deliver the service (e.g. authentication, load balancing, fraud prevention).
